It is with an overflowing heart that I am posting this years “I Scream” video! I came up with this idea nine years ago, when I was stuck in a hurricane but would have rather been with friends and family for my birthday.
For this who aren’t familiar, here’s how it works:
- Go out and buy your favorite pint of ice cream.
- Throw it in the freezer.
- On August 28th, take it from your freezer and at EXACTLY 9pm EST, take a bite.
- Snap a selfie or have someone take a picture of you, enjoying that first bite.
- Send that pic to me!
Each year I gather the pictures and make a video/ slideshow with them, dubbing in some music. Some friends and family have joined in this every single year, others on the years the are able (some forget, however). This year’s count was 155!
